About Us
Rainbow Respite was founded by Caroline Stuart in 2021 after her experience with serious illness and a passion in helping others live a more accomplished life.
We offer a very comfortable home-like STA experience coupled with an encouraging human-centred approach on disability support services from all our staff. Our stays aren’t limited to the NDIS participants, and we always welcome their families. We believe that by providing a warm, secure and inviting environment for all our clients with disability, it inspires development in their skills and nurtures independence while minimising disruption in normal routines.

Short Term NDIS Respite Care in the Brisbane Region for Adults Living with a Disability
Short Term Accommodation (STA) allows for adults with disability to take between a 2 to 28 day break away from their regular home routine in our cozy home-like setting across three bedroom options.
We always welcome suggestions, and we will accommodate requests where possible! We encourage you to get in contact with our friendly team to discuss any questions, activities or requests.

Rainbow Respite is an independent family-owned registered NDIS provider and welcomes clients with Short Term Accommodation (STA) capacity as well as private stays. Certified support workers provide quality, personalised care to people living with a disability in our community, both in-home and across South East Queensland.
Recognition of the diversity and unique strengths and challenges of all of our clients is paramount in working with you to achieve a fulfilling respite experience perfectly matched to the needs and requirements of each individual.

Independent NDIS Provider
The NDIS may cover the cost for support and Short Term Accommodation away from your regular home routine for up to 28 days per year. Speak to your support coordinator or planner to discuss having STA included in your current plan. For more information on eligibility, please visit the NDIS website.
